Emily Williams, Packaging Development Engineer
My role gives me a lot of flexibility to utilise a wide range of skills, both creative and methodical. I work in various areas including Future Innovation Opportunities (finding the next ‘big thing’), Packaging Ideas and Concept Generation, DFM (Design for Manufacture) and support in Production. Because of the nature of my role, I get to be involved in a lot of different projects, and at most stages too!
As the first Packaging Development Engineer at Nerudia I have had the opportunity to mould the role into what I want it to be. It’s the best of both worlds – I get to work independently on research but am also involved with many different project teams. I travel globally, whether it be to supplier locations, factories or conferences on current packaging affairs. I also get to work with cool tech!
